We understand that for some people the idea of setting up an account may seem a little daunting. Included with all of our hosting packages is the option for Assisted Setup. If you elect to have assistance installing your site and configuring your package then we will guide you through the process and review your configuration, correcting any issues that may arise. We can also point out any areas that we think you might be able to improve on your installation if required.
The areas that we can assist our clients setting up their hosting accounts include:
- Migrating accounts from another host to Livestate
- Logging in to cPanel
- Creating email accounts, email forwarders, and email auto-responders
- Creating MySQL databases, and assigning users to databases
- Indexing directories to restrict directory browsing
- Password protecting directories
- Creating sub-domains, and installing scripts into those domains
- Installing Fantastico scripts
- Configuring your chosen FTP Program
- Assisting uploading your site to the correct server location through your chosen FTP program
