If you already have a domain name with another host and would like to transfer your domain to Livestate, then you can select the option to transfer while ordering a web hosting package or you can transfer a domain name as a standalone product.
When you transfer a domain to the Livestate network you will generally be required to pay a transfer fee. This fee is equivalent to or less than a standard registration fee and will automatically increase the expiration date of your domain name by 1 year. So you can consider transferring a domain name as also an extension of the registration period that you have on that domain.
We understand that transferring a domain name may be a daunting process, so please feel free to contact us if you would like assistance with the transfer or have concerns about the transfer process.
Depending on the nature of the transfer will determine the stages that should be undertaken to ensure the transfer process is seamless. Are you simply transferring a domain to be parked on the Livestate network, or are you also establishing a hosting account with Livestate that will be associated with this domain as well?
"Livestate have hosted our website, assisted setting up Cpanel, managed our database backups and have supported Manning Imperial since 2003. We won't be going anywhere soon!" | Manning Imperial www.manningimperial.com
"As an artist and designer I had a vision of what I wanted my site to look like, Livestate Activemedia were able to take these ideas and expand on them, creating a site that far exceeded my expectations. This is the second website Livestate have designed and hosted for me, I believe the results speak for themselves." | Tam Gannon www.tamgannon.com
