Ensure you renew your domain name before it expires

Pending domain name renewals will be notified to our clients via email periodically to ensure domain names do not lapse, and clients lose their current domain name to another entity. Livestate would recommend that all domain names are renewed no less than 1 month prior to their renewal date.

If a domain name registration lapses another individual or organization can register that name and take ownership over it. This is a critical issue as clients may not be able to re-establish ownership over that domain name without having to purchase it from the new registrant at an inflated cost, or seek to have the domain re-instated through legal recourse. Furthermore all of the SEO and marketing work undertaken for that domain may pass on to the new domain registrant, and your client base will be directed to a site that is not their intended destination.

To renew a domain name clients can login to their domain name portal and select the period that they would like to renew their domain for.

Existing clients can login to the Livestate Client Portal to renew their domain names. Best practice is to ensure your domain names are renewed at least 1 month prior to their expiration dates.
